Happy Holidays to All!

The year has been a little slower for me in terms of showings and sales, but never-the-less I persist because I love making art.

More recently I have begun to look for wonderful little galleries outside of Falmouth, and I found a beauty in Middleboro, MA!

Two of my pieces are being shown at True Grit Gallery ( 38 Centre St., Middleboro, MA 02346) in their annual holiday show “Small Wonders.”  This is a wonderful gallery, in business for ten years, right in the center of Middleboro with easy access off of I-495!  Please take a look at the work shown in the link below, and don’t hesitate to drop in during the hours listed below.

Here is some info from Peter Damon, Owner, about the show and viewing times:

“We’re excited to share that all pieces from Small Wonders ’25 are now available for purchase in our online store. Each work has its own product page with photos, short descriptions, and pricing.

September Art Show

A reception, open to the public, will be held September 5, 2025, 5 to 6:30 p.m.  Please stop in and enjoy some good conversation, art and refreshments!

Hi, Everyone,
I have recently returned from a stay in Tucson, Arizona and have added two small studies in my Landscapes Gallery from my visit to the Saguaro National Forest west of Tucson.

I have also added three new paintings to the Seascape Gallery: One is a winter sunset painting inspired by a friend’s photo; one is a beach path painting; and one is a painting of a wave at a local beach.

I will be working on a few beach oriented works in the coming months in preparation for the summer season at The Gallery on Main. I might do a floral as well. It depends on the blooms appearing in the coming months.

This year has started off nicely with direct sales of two paintings to people in my neighborhood and The Gallery on Main sale of a small Sippewissett Marsh Study. It is so gratifying to have a person love one of my works enough to want to make it their own!

Happy Sprint to All!

Hi, All,
Checking in after some time! The Year 2024 flew by and was my most sucessful year in commissions and purchases to date!

I continue to show my work at The Gallery on Main in Falmouth and finished out the summer with a show in September that did very well. This year, 2025, started off with a bang when a friend asked to become the new owner of a painting of waterlilies….. a slight diversion from landscapes, beaches, and florals. I am going to be traveling out west to Tucson and hope to paint there and find a gallery that will show my work.

I have recently added a few new works here so check them out!

Hi, Viewers!

Back at it again after a small holiday hiatus.

So I recently completed three new beach paintings which you can see in the “Seascapes” Gallery.  I hope to be painting a few more in anticipation of my upcoming show in July at The Gallery on Main.

Currently I am working on a commissioned piece for some folks who want at 48″ x 36″ painting of a lake view at their summer home here on the Cape.

Yup, that’s right, we do have Scargo Lake here on Cape Cod. It is a nice challenge painting something different.

The weather here on the Cape is mostly grey and damp this year and not much snow.  Our town which has about 100,000 people in summer is down to about 30,000 now.  Can’t wait for a little more sun, but this is a great time to get things done.

That is it for now.

Don’t forget to check out all the Galleries on this website to see available work.

Hi, All,

Well here it is already November 7th and I  am late with my posting….Oh, well, better late etc.

I have been working at getting my name and the name and happenings of The Gallery on Main out there and I hope some of you saw the stuff on FB.

Also trying to connect more with some of our local Artists – Shout out to Mindy Reasonover , Grace DiMauro and Anne Costello!  Your work is looking great at the Gallery!

So now I have completed a 14 x 11 painting of a Snowy Path to Chappy Beach and am working on a small 5 x7 fall road yet to be named.  I have also received a commission for a painting of a lovely lake….more on that next month.

Taking lots of walks in our beautiful natural environment and getting more ideas and photos to use as inspiration.  I do love Fall.

That is it for now, my husband has made a pizza and I am hungry!

First Blog Post

My September Featured Artist show at The Gallery on Main has officially closed, but you can still go and see most of my paintings in

The Gallery.  If you are in the vicinity pleases stop by!

As the heading says, this is my first blog post on this new website.  I hope to post on the first day of each month, so be sure to check in to learn what’s new and to see any new work  Speaking of new work, some new paintings will be added shortly.  There will be a Floral, “Sunflowers,” a Landscape, “Crane Wildlife Morning,” a Triptych, “Poppies and Wildflowers, and a Small Works piece, “Little Field Poppies.” I will post here when they are on the site.

I am thinking about painting some Seascapes soon.  For now I am making some handpainted Fall greeting cards to offer in

The Gallery on Main.

Wet  weather on the Cape, leftovers from Ian, is affording me some thinking time.

Be well and thanks for checking in!
